Located in the heart of downtown Tucson, The Cadence offers University of Arizona students a unique blend of college life and urban living at its finest. This project elevates the student experience, presenting a new kind of luxury lifestyle with an impressive amenity package. Flanking one of the main thoroughfares downtown, The Cadence transforms Tucson’s character by introducing new retail and community spaces. As a premier academic housing option in the city, our brand design authentically reflects the local spirit while appealing to students seeking a high-end urban living experience. We created a complete identity for The Cadence, including its name, logo, website art direction, marketing materials, exterior signage, and environmental graphics for the leasing office and buildings. This cohesive branding captures the essence of Tucson and establishes a consistent look and feel throughout the project. Informed by detailed profiles of the target demographic, the design process centered on understanding the needs of the students. An integrated design team worked collaboratively to ensure that The Cadence responds to both the unique context of the site and the lifestyle of its residents. Positioned near thriving music venues, new restaurants, the historic Hotel Congress, and numerous transit options, the branding story of The Cadence invites students to immerse themselves in the rhythm and vibrancy of this emerging district.
