Mirabella Portland

Artfully Arranged Interiors

Located in Portland's vibrant South Waterfront district, Mirabella Portland is a groundbreaking 30-story high-rise that redefines what a truly urban continuing care retirement community (CCRC) can be. The first LEED Platinum CCRC in the U.S., Mirabella offers all levels of care—independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care—within a high-rise that blends sophisticated design with a commitment to sustainability. With over 400 residents and 140 staff members, this innovative tower represents the future of senior housing, where urban life, community connection, and quality care come together. The name "Mirabella," meaning "beautiful view," is central to the building's design. Situated on a one-acre footprint, the tower’s vertical structure optimizes views of the Willamette River and the surrounding cityscape while offering a compact, efficient layout. Skilled nursing is housed at the base, assisted living at the center, and independent living at the top. Vertical transportation, with units and amenities no more than 28 steps apart, ensures easy access for residents and fosters an active, interconnected community. Designed with an emphasis on lifestyle and engagement, Mirabella boasts a suite of amenities that allow residents to sustain, grow, and thrive. These spaces include a bar, lounge, library, business center, fitness center, spa, pool, bistro, fine dining, and beauty salon—all thoughtfully integrated into the building’s sleek, modern architecture. The interior design reflects the natural beauty of the river, with colors, textures, and materials inspired by the ecosystem, while innovative lighting solutions ensure comfort and accessibility for aging eyes. The attention to detail extends to the building’s artwork, with custom pieces created by local artists displayed throughout the space. From glass installations to wood features, every corner of Mirabella is enriched with artistry. Each of Mirabella’s units is carefully crafted to support seniors aging in place. Luxurious finishes, sustainable appliances, and personalized touches make each apartment feel like home—allowing residents to live comfortably, sustainably, and with a deep connection to both the building and the community around them. Mirabella exemplifies the ideal blend of urban living, cutting-edge design, and senior care.
