Aegis Living Greenwood

Timeless Elegance for Modern Living

Entering the halls of Aegis Living Greenwod, guests and residents have their arrival heralded by the grand, monumental reception area. Design details in the foyer like gold leaf, brass, and oil-rubbed bronze finishes, alongside Elizabethan artwork, solidify historical connections to Tudor England and imbue the space with a sense of sophistication. As the corridors are traversed, moments of surprise and delight appear around every corner. The first-floor activity lounge has a coffee bar, floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize natural light, and a very beautiful, custom-made cast stone fireplace for residents to gather around. Overhead, exposed wood beams, sconces, and ornate ironwork emphasize the Tudor aesthetic. There’s a grand piano for everyone to enjoy, with musicians performing for residents as part of Aegis’ specialty programming. Across the way, The Woodlands dining hall is cloaked in dark wood, jewel tones, and layers of patterned fabrics. An intricately glazed glass display case serves as a room divider, allowing natural light to filter into the dining room, including the private dining room, with a uniquely detailed wine display. The central hub of programming is undoubtedly the Miracle Theater and the neighboring activity studio. Separated by a demountable wall, the art studio has a multipurpose flexibility that allows it to be used for big events and other social opportunities. Other amenities include a fitness area and a wellness suite with a hair and nail salon, barber shop, and massage room. Zoom rooms simplify telehealth appointments and make video calls with family much easier. A sports lounge and pub pairs rich wood with splashes of green to embrace a dark and moody feeling found in old-world country clubs or deep in the forest, serving as a gathering place to socialize and enjoy the atmosphere. The ceiling resembles antique tin, connecting to the Tudor style found throughout the property. For Memory Care residents, the Happy Days Cafe fills the need for both socialization and reflection. The design team incorporated both a green wall and aquarium to provide visual stimulation for wandering minds. A wide range of seating options encourages interaction and conversation. At the very top of the building, the rooftop Sky Lounge pairs elevated views with a warm and cozy bar component. Low ceilings were adjusted to feel higher and more open. Game tables, a fireplace, and a rooftop patio and garden give residents an additional place to unwind at the end of the day, allowing them to connect with others in the community.
